Qadar AI — because AI adoption moved faster than AI governance, and someone has to build the layer that closes the gap.
You don't want to maintain someone else's architecture — you want to define one. As Security Platform Lead you own the technical backbone of the Qadar AI Shield suite: the enforcement layer that decides, across browser, endpoint, mobile, and control plane, how AI policy becomes action.
Qadar AI is in the company-building stage. The product is real, the first lighthouse pilots are forming, and the engineering standards you set now will carry the platform through enterprise security reviews and Series A scrutiny. You work directly with the founder office — no layers, no committees.
What you'll own
- You drive the enforcement architecture behind Shield Web, Shield Desktop, Shield Mobile, and Shield Control — one coherent backbone instead of four loose products.
- You ship enterprise-ready controls without sacrificing the fast, minutes-not-months deployment that wins SMB and mid-market teams.
- You set the technical standard for policy execution, local telemetry, and secure rollout mechanics across every surface where AI risk lives.
- You make the platform credible in security reviews — from architecture documentation to the operational posture buyers and auditors ask about.
- You shape build-vs-buy decisions and technical tradeoffs together with the founder office as the suite expands.
What you bring
- You have shipped security or infrastructure products — not prototypes, but software that operates in production for paying customers.
- You move from architecture to implementation without ceremony: you can design the enforcement model in the morning and review the pull request in the afternoon.
- You care about product ergonomics. Controls that managers cannot operate are controls that do not get deployed.
- You are comfortable owning hard tradeoffs — performance vs. coverage, speed vs. enterprise depth — and explaining them clearly.
- You communicate precisely in English with founders, customers, and future hires; experience in early-stage or company-building environments is a strong plus.
