Apply policy presets and bundles
Instead of building governance policies from scratch, Shield Control ships a preset library of ready-made policies organized by compliance framework. Applying a preset gives your organization enforceable, framework-aligned policies in minutes.
What's in the library
The preset library covers six jurisdictions and standards, each recognizable by its flag:
- EU AI Act — obligations for AI use in the European Union
- GDPR — data-protection controls for AI tools processing personal data
- DIFC Regulation 10 — the Dubai International Financial Centre's AI regulation
- Korea AI Basic Act — South Korea's framework for AI accountability
- US AI in Employment — rules for AI-assisted hiring and HR decisions
- ISO 42001 / NIST — bundles aligned with the leading AI-management standards
Each bundle shows its title and description directly in the list, with a clear indicator of which of its policies are already applied in your organization. What each regulation actually requires — article by article — is covered in the compliance & frameworks explainers.
Apply a preset
- In Shield Control, open Policies and switch to the preset library.
- Pick the framework that applies to your organization and review the policies the bundle contains.
- Apply the bundle. The included policies become part of your organization's policy set and are enforced through Shield Web like any policy you created yourself.
New organizations start with compliance-labeled starter policies out of the box, so there is a working baseline before you apply anything.
Adopt existing policies into a framework
Already built your own policies? You can adopt them into a framework instead of recreating them — the policy keeps its configuration and becomes part of the framework's coverage picture.
After applying
Applied policies show up with their framework label across the dashboard and audit views, so reviews and audits can trace which control belongs to which regulation.
